Head of M&A Legal Advisory

Melita graduated from the Faculty of Law in Ljubljana in 2000 and in 2001 she obtained the title of LL.M. at New York University (NYU) in corporate law. In 2001 she passed the state bar exam in the state of New York and in 2004 she passed the state bar exam in Slovenia.

In the years 2001 - 2003 she was employed as a judicial intern. In the years 2004 - 2014 she was employed at Law Firm Senica in Ljubljana, in last 5 years as a Partner and Head of Commercial Department. In the years 2014 - 2017 she was Head of Legal at company TAJFUN PLANINA. In the years 2017- 2021 she was Head of Legal Department at company DARS (National Motorway Company of Slovenia).

She joined KF FINANCE in 2021 where she is in charge of legal advisory for M&A transactions and other projects. With her extensive experience, she offers professional and at the same time practical advice to clients.
